Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how RacketScore ("the App"), developed and operated by Nioquant, vl. Fran Čudina ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information. RacketScore is a racket sports tracker available on the Garmin Connect IQ platform, supporting padel, tennis, pickleball, badminton, squash, and table tennis.

Data We Collect

The App collects the following types of data during use:

Sensor Data

• Accelerometer data (used for swing detection and shot power measurement)
• Heart rate (average and maximum during a match)
• GPS location (optional, can be disabled in settings)

Activity Data

• Steps, distance traveled, and calories burned during a match
• Match duration and elapsed time

Match Data

• Scores (points, games, sets) and match results
• Swing analytics (swing count, G-force, estimated power)
• Serve statistics and point-by-point history
• Error tracking (net, wall, out errors)
• Game configuration (sport type, game mode, team mode)

Device Information

• Device identifier (Garmin device ID)
• Screen dimensions and battery level

How We Use Your Data

All collected data is used solely to provide the core functionality of the App:

• Tracking and displaying real-time match statistics on your Garmin watch
• Recording match activity via the Garmin FIT format
• Enabling real-time multiplayer score synchronization between watches
• Syncing match history to your optional self-hosted web dashboard
• Providing performance analytics and match history review

Data Storage

On your Garmin watch: Match history, user settings, and game configurations are stored locally on the device.

Backend sync (optional): If you choose to enable sync, match data is transmitted to a server endpoint that you configure. The backend is designed to be self-hosted on your own infrastructure. No data is sent to our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Specifically:

• No third-party analytics or tracking services are used
• No crash reporting is sent to external services
• No advertising networks receive your data
• ANT+ multiplayer communication is local and peer-to-peer only (no internet required)
• All synced data goes only to your own self-hosted server, if configured

Your Controls

You have full control over what data the App collects and transmits:

• GPS: Enable or disable location tracking in the App settings
• Activity Recording: Enable or disable Garmin FIT activity saving
• Data Sync: Enable or disable backend sync entirely
• Sync Endpoint: Configure your own server address for data sync
• Swing Sensitivity: Adjust accelerometer detection sensitivity (Low, Medium, High)
• Live Sync: Enable or disable real-time score updates to the web dashboard

Third-Party Services

RacketScore runs on the Garmin Connect IQ platform. Your use of a Garmin device is subject to Garmin's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for data collected by Garmin independently of our App.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
